IS THE DRIVER'S EDUCATION CLASS SESSION MANDATORY?
Yes, we require our Driver's Ed Class Session for all of our clients under the age of 21. In the case that you have already completed/ attended a Driver's Ed class or program, we will accept proof of your attendance during your Onboarding.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
Your $100 deposit retains your seat with the expectation that you have chosen to show up not for us, but for yourself. We respect how life impacts our students and their families, which is why deposits are transferrable, not refundable. Once you begin the application process, the deposit guarantees your enrollment and your drive time.
HOW SOON CAN I SECURE MY SEAT AHEAD OF CLASS?
Paying ahead is always an option! This works great for students who want to schedule sessions on the weekend, during academic breaks (fall/summer) or for parents who like to stay ahead of the game. The options for planning ahead are only limited by your availability. We plan for our drive sessions according to your schedule.

Enrolled students who attend these schools within reasonable radius to our location (Richland Northeast, Ridge View, Cardinal Newman, & Spring Valley) are eligible for being picked up for their drive sessions.
Please note, we do not pickup students from residences.

All Drivers Education students will be encouraged to begin with our 6 hour training session. This allows us to gauge each individual's previous skills properly. After the second session we will assess to determine if additional drive time is needed.
All applicants under 21 y.o. age are required to attend the Driver's Ed Saturday Session.
"Do you help with driver permits?"
We do! We're available for evey need on your licensing journey.
Our Permit Test Saturdays alternate every other weekend- monthly, (8am, and last about an hour) and are held in our Driver's Ed Classroom.
Pursuant to state law, permit holders under 18yo must hold their license for 180 days (over 18yo- 30 days).

Third-Party Testing DISCLAIMER: Knight’s Drivers Academy is a certified Third-Party Tester for the SCDMV. The fee for the program is $60 in addition to the regular tuition and DMV fees for students and non-students of KDA. Students who participate in our classes or behind the wheel sessions are not guaranteed to receive a license and may be selected at random by SCDMV to be retested at the time of application for a driver’s license.
Individuals are not guaranteed to pass.
